Came Back Wrong: Courtesy of Anankos who, after his death, replaced Garon's spirit with that of a monster servant with access to Garon's memories, and who Anankos can control as he pleases. Brainwashed and Crazy: He Came Back Wrong as this due to Anankos's influence. Blob Monster: "Garon" reveals his true form as a slime monster on the Conquest route. Big Bad: Seems to be this in both Birthright and Conquest, but is revealed in Revelation to have been manipulated the whole time. His last appearance on the Revelation route was him appearing and expecting his master to make him a vessel like Gunter was. Believing Their Own Lies: Garon never seems to realize he's a monster until something forces it to manifest (Hoshido Throne) and never notices when Anankos takes control to make him think the way his masters wants him to think. so he and the Avatar can properly begin to change Nohr from within, making it more like "The Anti Villains Win", rather than imposing Nohr's war-like will (and Anankos' desire for destruction) like Garon wanted. The Bad Guy Wins: Played with in Conquest since, even when Nohr does win the war against Hoshido, Garon's true form is revealed and he's killed immediately afterwards, Hinoka survives and becomes Queen of Hoshido so she and Sakura can start rebuilding it, while the Avatar's Nohrian older brother, Xander, inherits the Nohrian throne and succeeds Garon as the ruler of Nohr. Ax-Crazy: He becomes more and more unhinged as The Crown of Nibelung goes on, to the point he begins to casually execute Nohrian soldiers and civillians in his throne room for his own pleasure. Authority Equals Asskicking: Applies to him before and after his death: King Garon when he was alive was a valiant man who fought on the front lines in battle, while the corpse-puppet slash familiar is either the Final Boss (in Birthright) or the Climax Boss (in Conquest) with stats to match, wields a big greataxe, and can transform into a dragon due to Anankos' power residing within. To a lesser extent, while the siblings on the Conquest route indeed come into conflict with him as well, it's only after he's dead and Anankos turns his corpse into his vessel to do his bidding. Interestingly, the card game showed that he used to wield a sword like Xander. An Axe to Grind: Wields the S-Rank weapon Bölverk, a large axe with a partially serrated double-head. FIRE EMBLEM WARRIORS WIKI FURY BUILDER SKIN
Amazing Technicolor Population: His skin is charcoal grey, one of the first hints you get that something is very wrong with him.
Prior to becoming a walking corpse, he was already mentally tainted by the Decadent Court. Abusive Parents: More openly towards the Avatar, but he's not exactly much kinder to his own sons and daughters.tHe wHoLe WoRld!! I aM tHe GrEaTeSt KiNg Of [Ll!!
